Emily Ward sigraði ræðukeppni English Speaking Union á Íslandi (the winner of the 2013 ESU National Public Speaking Competition)

Okkur er ánægja að tilkynna að sigurvegari í ræðukeppni English Speaking Union á Íslandi þetta árið er Emily Ward, nemandi við Menntaskólann við Hamrahlíð. Aðrir keppendur úr MH voru Aron Eydal Sigurðsson, Hannah Bryndís Proppé-Bailey og Rebekka Rún Mitra. Við óskum þeim öllum til hamingju með þennan góða árangur og Emily allra heilla í London. We are proud to announce that the winner of the 2013 ESU National Public Speaking Competition is our MH student Emily Ward. Congratulations to Aron Eydal Sigurðsson, Hannah Bryndís Proppé-Bailey and Rebekka Rún Mitra for their hard work, and we wish Emily the best of luck in London. Emily verður fulltrúi Íslands í alþjóðlegu keppninni sem haldin verður í London í Maí. Nemendur okkar stóðu sig mjög vel í keppninni í ár, fjórir komust í undanúrslit og þrír í lokaúrslit.

Emily will represent Iceland at the International Competition to be held in London this May. This was an excellent year for MH as four of our students made it to the semi-finals and three to the finals.
